Our store is built on open source software Magento that provides us with the online e-commerce platform which allows us to sell our products and services to you. Our website is hosted on secure Australian based servers at AWS. Your data is stored through Magento’s data storage, databases and the general Magento application.
Our hosting provider and e-commerce software implements a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information when you place an order or enter, submit, or access your personal information.
We offer the use of Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology throughout our website. All supplied sensitive/credit information is also transmitted via SSL and then encrypted into our payment gateway providers database only to be accessible by those authorised with special access rights to such systems, and are required to keep the information confidential.
After a transaction, your private information (credit cards, social security numbers, financials, etc.) will not be stored on our servers.
In general, the third-party providers used by us will only collect, use and disclose your information to the extent necessary to allow them to perform the services they provide to us.
However, certain third-party service providers, such as payment gateways and other payment transaction processors, have their own privacy policies in respect to the information we are required to provide to them for your purchase-related transactions.
For these providers, we recommend that you read their privacy policies so you can understand the manner in which your personal information will be handled by these providers.
In particular, remember that certain providers may be located in or have facilities that are located in a different jurisdiction than either you or us. So if you elect to proceed with a transaction that involves the services of a third-party service provider, then your information may become subject to the laws of the jurisdiction(s) in which that service provider or its facilities are located.
As an example, if you are located in Australia and your transaction is processed by a payment gateway located in the United States, then your personal information used in completing that transaction may be subject to disclosure under United States legislation, including the Patriot Act.
Occasionally, at our discretion, we may include or offer third party products or services on our website. When you click on links on our store, they may direct you away from our site. These third party sites have separate and independent privacy policies. We are not responsible for the privacy practices, therefore have no liability for the content and activities of these linked sites and encourage you to read their privacy statements. Nonetheless, we seek to protect the integrity of our site and welcome any feedback about these sites.
